Responsibilities
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive student to become part of our SAP Labs Munich Team in Garching. You will be instrumental in supporting the Event & Content Creation team at our new SAP Labs Munich Campus, aimed at nurturing and enhancing our SAP Labs Munich community.
In this capacity, your objective will be to foster a lively and inclusive campus environment that empowers our SAP Munich personnel. A significant aspect of your role will involve coordinating and assisting with various employee initiatives as well as managing both internal and external events related to our Campus activities. Your duties will encompass planning, communication, stakeholder engagement, and providing on-site assistance during events. This will also involve aiding in internal communications by managing various channels for SAP Labs Munich and supporting the development of a specific event portfolio for the newly established SAP Labs Munich Campus.
Given that this position requires on-site engagement, candidates should ideally reside in Munich or its vicinity.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled as a student (f/m/d) at a university Preferred fields of study include: Business Administration, Communications, Media, Marketing, Social Sciences, Event Management, Design, Project Management, or related areas. Language proficiency: fluent in English and German Technical skills: proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with MS Teams is advantageous, programming skills are not required). Experience with Adobe and video editing is a plus. Interpersonal skills: a collaborative team player with a proactive approach, self-organized, open-minded, possessing strong communication and project management abilities; goal-oriented and results-driven when working with internal and external stakeholders. Additional experience: prior (work) experience in Event Management, Communication, Project Management, or similar fields; previous internships or working student roles would be beneficial.About the Team
We are in the process of establishing SAP Labs Munich as a premier innovation hub in Commerce, Industry 4.0, Sustainability, and New Mobility, leveraging our strategic partnership with the Technical University Munich (TUM) and Munich's vibrant ecosystem of global enterprises and startups, forming Europe's leading technology cluster. SAP Labs Munich will drive research in collaboration with TUM, focusing on the latest technological trends, enhancing SAP's solution offerings, and co-innovating with customers, startups, and partners. Recently integrated into the global SAP Labs Network, we are set to develop a new SAP office location on the TUM campus. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a highly motivated team responsible for launching an innovation hub for SAP.
