Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive student to contribute to our SAP Labs Munich Team in Garching. Your role will be pivotal in assisting the Event & Content Creation team at our new SAP Labs Munich Campus, aimed at enhancing our SAP Labs Munich community.

In this capacity, your objective will be to foster a lively and inclusive campus environment that supports our SAP Munich personnel. A key aspect of your responsibilities will involve coordinating and facilitating various employee initiatives, as well as managing both internal and external events related to our Campus operations. Your tasks will encompass planning, communication, stakeholder engagement, and providing on-site assistance during events. Additionally, you will aid in internal communications by overseeing various channels for SAP Labs Munich and contribute to the development of a tailored event portfolio for the new SAP Labs Munich Campus.

Given that this position requires physical presence, candidates should be located in Munich or its vicinity.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a student (f/m/d) at a university
  • Preferred fields of study include: Business Administration, Communications, Media, Marketing, Social Sciences, Event Management, Design, Project Management, or related disciplines.
  • Language proficiency: fluent in English and German
  • Technical skills: proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with MS Teams is advantageous, programming skills are not required). Experience with Adobe software and video editing is a plus.
  • Interpersonal skills: team-oriented, hands-on approach, self-organized, proactive, open-minded, effective communicator, and adept in project management; goal-oriented and results-driven when collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Additional experience: prior (work) experience in Event Management, Communication, Project Management, or similar fields; previous internships or working student roles are advantageous.

We are in the process of establishing SAP Labs Munich as a premier innovation hub in Commerce, Industry 4.0, Sustainability, and New Mobility, leveraging our strategic partnership with the Technical University Munich (TUM) and the vibrant ecosystem of global enterprises and startups in Munich, which forms Europe's leading technology cluster. SAP Labs Munich will spearhead research in collaboration with TUM, focusing on the latest technological advancements, enhancing SAP's solution offerings, and co-innovating with customers, startups, and partners. Recently integrated into the global SAP Labs Network, we are poised to create a new SAP office on the TUM campus. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a highly motivated team dedicated to establishing an innovation hub for SAP.
