KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Address complex client challenges using tailored analytical methods and bespoke solutions.
- Effectively engage and manage diverse senior stakeholders and client teams, ensuring clear communication tailored to various stakeholder environments.
- Oversee internal projects, prioritizing tasks and delivering outcomes in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating strong business acumen and flexibility.
- Independently spearhead the creation of intellectual property and marketing materials, collaborating with senior BCG and industry experts.
- Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Thrive in a rapidly evolving and intricate environment, exhibiting comfort with ambiguity and the ability to navigate challenges effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 3 years of consulting experience in the banking sector is strongly preferred.
- If lacking consulting experience, at least 4 years of relevant industry experience is required; 6-10+ years of industry experience is highly desirable.
- A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory (an advanced degree is preferred).
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in banking, with familiarity in areas such as process optimization, digitization, Generative AI applications, cost and efficiency benchmarking, customer service models, and operating model evaluations.
- Fluency in both English and German is essential.
COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT
As a Lead Knowledge Analyst, you will work closely with clients and collaborate with BCG Managing Directors, Partners, Principals, Project Leaders, Associates, and Consultants, as well as other Knowledge team members across various banking segments. During periods between client engagements, you will partner with global topic leaders and colleagues throughout BCG to leverage expertise and capabilities for both internal and external clients, while also developing intellectual property.
ADDITIONAL CONTEXT
The Knowledge Team (KT) comprises functional and industry specialists who utilize their extensive domain knowledge to provide insights for case teams and clients. KT members are integrated into BCG Practice Areas, contributing to strategic initiatives and developing cutting-edge IP data tools/assets to deliver valuable insights. Members of BCG's Knowledge Team have the opportunity to be involved in casework, co-creating insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivering proprietary data or tools, and conducting complex market research and analysis. KT members also play a crucial role in supporting business development and proposals, while organizing and codifying knowledge that empowers BCG to deliver exceptional business value to its clients.
