Position Overview:

We are seeking a (SENIOR) PRICING ANALYST (M/F/D) for the Central Region. This role is integral to our Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) team, focusing on pricing evaluations and contract oversight, particularly in Germany and with group purchasing organizations (GPOs).


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement customer pricing strategies in collaboration with the commercial team.
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis to support the GPO team in making informed decisions.
  • Assist the commercial team in navigating defined approval processes on various pricing matters.
  • Act as a strategic partner to both the GPO organization and the broader Commercial team.
  • Establish and monitor pricing KPIs to mitigate price erosion.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of pricing trends and ensure regular evaluations of contracts and pricing lists.
  • Collaborate closely with the FPA team to contribute to actuals analysis, business reviews, and ad-hoc inquiries.
  • Support compliance processes related to contracts in partnership with the GPO and Commercial teams, ensuring adherence to Abbott's pricing policies.
  • Facilitate processes related to quote and contract creation in conjunction with the EP Quotation team.
  • Engage proactively with colleagues across divisions to enhance the overall FPA/Pricing team.

Candidate Profile:
  • A university degree in Business, Economics, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in sales, finance, or consulting, with a focus on pricing, preferably within the healthcare industry; recent graduates with relevant internships are also encouraged to apply.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with commercial teams.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in system skills, particularly with Excel; experience with financial forecasting and reporting systems, including SAP, is advantageous.
  • Experience in processing and analyzing extensive data sets.
  • Fluency in English and German is required.
  • A high degree of autonomy and adaptability in a dynamic, performance-driven environment.
