Position Overview:

We are seeking a (SENIOR) PRICING ANALYST (M/F/D) for the Central Region. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that enhances health outcomes while fostering personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

This role within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) team is responsible for conducting pricing evaluations and managing contracts for the Central Region, particularly focusing on Germany and group purchasing organizations (GPOs).

Collaboration with Sales and GPO teams is essential, providing financial insights to facilitate informed business decisions.

The Pricing Analyst will assist the Pricing Manager in executing GPO investment strategies and managing contracts and tenders.

  • Develop and implement customer pricing strategies in collaboration with the commercial team.
  • Provide robust financial analysis to support the GPO team in decision-making processes.
  • Assist the commercial team with various topics within established approval protocols.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the GPO and Commercial organizations.
  • Establish and monitor pricing KPIs to mitigate price erosion.
  • Analyze pricing trends and conduct regular reviews of contracts and pricing structures.
  • Work closely with the FPA team to contribute to actuals analysis and business reviews.
  • Support contract compliance in collaboration with GPO and Commercial teams, ensuring adherence to Abbott's pricing policies.
  • Facilitate processes related to quote and contract creation with the EP Quotation team.
  • Engage with colleagues across divisions to enhance the broader FPA/Pricing team.

Candidate Profile:
  • A university degree in Business, Economics, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales, finance, or consulting, with a focus on pricing, preferably in the healthcare sector; recent graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in managing relationships with commercial teams.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Excel and experienced with financial forecasting and reporting systems; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
  • Experience in processing and analyzing large datasets.
  • Fluency in English and German.
  • A high degree of autonomy and adaptability in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
