Key Responsibilities:

This role within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for conducting pricing evaluations and managing contracts for the Central Region, particularly focusing on Germany and group purchasing organizations (GPOs). You will collaborate with Sales and GPO teams through financial analysis to facilitate informed business decisions. Additionally, you will assist the Pricing Manager in driving GPO investment strategies and managing contracts/tenders.

Reporting to the Pricing Manager EP Central, you will interact significantly with EP GPO managers, country commercial teams, the Quotation team, and the FP&A team.

  • Execute customer pricing strategies and guidelines through ongoing collaboration with customers and the commercial team
  • Provide robust financial analysis to support the GPO team in making informed decisions
  • Assist the commercial team in navigating defined approval processes on various matters
  • Serve as a business partner to the GPO organization and the broader Commercial organization
  • Establish and monitor pricing KPIs to mitigate price erosion
  • Analyze pricing trends and conduct regular reviews of contracts and pricing structures
  • Collaborate closely with the FP&A team to contribute to Actuals analysis, Business Reviews, and ad-hoc requests
  • Support contract compliance processes in partnership with GPO and the Commercial organization, ensuring adherence to Abbott's pricing guidelines and policies
  • Facilitate processes related to quote and contract creation in conjunction with the EP Quotation team
  • Contribute to the overall FP&A/Pricing team by proactively engaging with colleagues across divisions
Your Qualifications:
  • A university degree in Business, Economics, Finance/Accounting, or a related field
  • Ideally 2-4 years of experience in sales, finance, and/or consulting, with a focus on pricing topics, preferably within the healthcare sector; recent graduates with relevant internships and international experience are encouraged to apply
  • Proven experience in managing relationships with commercial teams
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in systems, particularly Excel; familiarity with financial forecasting and reporting systems, as well as SAP, is advantageous
  • Experience in processing and analyzing large datasets
  • Fluency in English and German
  • A high degree of autonomy and adaptability in a dynamic, performance-driven environment
