Senior Pricing Specialist (m/f/d)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Pricing Specialist to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This role will focus on pricing analysis and contract management, particularly within the German market and group purchasing organizations (GPOs). You will collaborate closely with Sales and GPO teams to provide financial insights that drive strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement customer pricing strategies in alignment with commercial teams.
  • Provide robust financial analysis to support GPO teams in making informed decisions.
  • Assist the commercial team in navigating approval processes on various pricing matters.
  • Act as a strategic partner to the GPO organization and the broader Commercial team.
  • Monitor and analyze pricing KPIs to mitigate price erosion.
  • Conduct regular reviews of contracts and pricing structures to identify trends.
  • Collaborate with the FP&A team on Actuals analysis, Business Reviews, and ad-hoc inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with Abbott's pricing guidelines and policies throughout contract processes.
  • Support the creation of quotes and contracts in conjunction with the EP Quotation team.
  • Engage with colleagues across divisions to foster a collaborative FP&A/Pricing environment.
Candidate Profile:
  • A university degree in Business, Economics, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales, finance, or consulting, with a focus on pricing, preferably in the healthcare industry; recent graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with commercial teams effectively.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with financial forecasting and reporting systems; familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
  • Experience in handling and analyzing large datasets.
  • Fluency in English and German is required.
  • A high degree of autonomy and adaptability in a dynamic, performance-driven environment.
