Country Manager (m/f/d) - Strategic Business Leadership

Role Overview:

In the capacity of Country Manager (m/f/d) for strategic business leadership, with a focus on the German market, you will collaborate closely with the Country Head Germany to strengthen our premier position in the German market. This involves fostering a culture of teamwork and trust, establishing clear objectives, and ensuring alignment on necessary decisions and actions to empower individuals to achieve their healthiest lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the Country Head, you will oversee the daily operations of the German (Own Stock) Business, with the goal of meeting Annual Operating Planning and P&L objectives. You will also spearhead various initiatives and projects, driving them towards commercial success.
  • You will meticulously track and assess relevant KPIs, creating standard reports in collaboration with Data Science and BI teams to facilitate improvements across departments. Additionally, you will manage margin strategies, implement pricing tactics, and develop new KPIs for market evaluation.
  • You will lead the quarterly forecasting process for Germany, crafting annual and long-term plans in close collaboration with Controlling and the Country Head.
  • You will collaborate with various teams such as Marketing, Category Management, and Pricing on activities and campaigns aimed at driving sales growth, ensuring effective budget utilization and monitoring quality metrics like CLV through an evolving customer data model. You will also focus on enhancing our NPS to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • You will cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the business, identifying new opportunities, particularly in relation to our Rx (prescriptive medication) and proprietary brand initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  • You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, and possess practical experience in a commercial capacity.
  • You are driven, with a strategic outlook, keen business acumen, and exceptional analytical capabilities. Your strong stakeholder management skills enable you to engage effectively across various levels and with cross-functional teams.
  • You excel in dynamic environments and are skilled at managing multiple priorities and deadlines with a methodical approach and resilience. You are capable of making decisions amidst uncertainty and are open to taking calculated risks.
  • You are fluent in both English and German, and are prepared to visit our Cologne office several days a week.
