About the role:

In the capacity of Director of Operations for Germany (m/f/d), you will collaborate closely with the Country Head Germany to enhance our dominant presence in the German market. This involves nurturing a culture of collaboration and trust, setting clear objectives, and aligning on necessary decisions and actions. Our aim is to empower individuals to lead their healthiest lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will oversee the daily operations of the German (Own Stock) Business, focusing on achieving Annual Operating Planning and P&L objectives. You will also take the lead in various initiatives and projects, steering them towards commercial success.
  • You will diligently track and assess pertinent KPIs, crafting standard reports in partnership with Data Science and BI to drive enhancements across different departments. Additionally, you will manage margin oversight, implement pricing strategies, and develop new KPIs for market analysis.
  • You will guide the quarterly forecasting process for Germany, working closely with Controlling and the Country Head to formulate yearly and long-term plans.
  • You will coordinate with teams such as Marketing, Category Management, and Pricing on activities and campaigns to drive sales growth, ensuring effective budget utilization and monitoring quality metrics like CLV through an evolving customer data model. You will also keep a close eye on our NPS, striving to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • You will cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape, identifying new opportunities, particularly related to our Rx (prescriptive medication) and proprietary brand offerings.

About You:

  • You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, and possess extensive practical experience in a comparable role within country or business management in the commercial sector.
  • You are driven, with a robust strategic mindset, entrepreneurial flair, and exceptional analytical capabilities. You also have strong stakeholder management skills, enabling effective engagement across various levels and with cross-functional teams.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment and are skilled at juggling multiple priorities and deadlines with a methodical and solution-oriented approach.
  • You are fluent in both English and German, and are prepared to visit our office several days a week.
