Country Manager (m/f/d) - A Strategic Leadership Role

About the Role:

As Country Manager (m/f/d) for the German market, you will work closely with the Country Head Germany to expand our market-leading position in Germany by fostering a culture of collaboration and trust, defining objectives, and driving alignment on key decisions and actions. Our goal is to empower individuals to live their healthiest lives possible.

About Your Responsibilities:

  • You will steer the daily German business, aiming to achieve Annual Operating Planning and P&L targets in collaboration with the Country Head. You will also take the business lead role in various initiatives and projects, driving them to commercial success.
  • You will closely monitor and analyze relevant KPIs, developing standard reports with Data Science and BI to drive improvements across different departments. You will also oversee margin management, pricing strategy implementation, and the development of new KPIs for market monitoring.
  • You will lead the quarterly forecast process for Germany, developing yearly plans and long-term plans in close cooperation with Controlling and the Country Head.
  • You will align closely with other teams like Marketing, Category Management, and Pricing on activities and campaigns to achieve sales growth, ensuring efficient budget usage and monitoring quality indicators such as CLV with the help of a constantly evolving customer data model. You will also keep a close eye on our NPS, aiming to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • You will develop a deep business understanding, identifying new business opportunities, for example connected to our Rx (prescriptive medication) and own brand business.

About You:

  • You have a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, and have gained practical experiences in a commercial role.
  • You are ambitious, with a strategic mindset, strong business sense, and excellent analytical skills. You also possess strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively on different levels and with cross-functional teams.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines with a methodological approach and resilience. You are able to take decisions under uncertainty and are willing to take risks.
  • You are business fluent in English and German, and are able and willing to come to our Cologne office several days a week.
