We are seeking a seasoned professional with extensive experience in designing, optimizing, and managing the technical architecture and deployment of Workday solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and industry best practices. Your expertise will be vital in contributing to the success of our HR systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the global Workday platform, including Core HCM, Compensation, Talent, Benefits, Recruiting, and Learning, ensuring comprehensive management of architecture, data, and interfaces.
  • Provide technical guidance to optimize the platform's architecture, business processes, and configurations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop the Workday architecture and roadmap strategy, ensuring solutions are designed to meet business requirements.
  • Engage regularly with internal HR teams to implement updates to the Workday platform, ensuring enhancements are in line with best practices and improve user experience.
  • Coordinate with external AMS Support Providers to review and test configurations, ensuring thorough vetting before production deployment.
  • Conduct technical configuration reviews of biannual Workday releases, working closely with the Workday Platform Owner to prepare for new features.
  • Support the team with reports for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure successful delivery and adoption of Workday solutions while continuously seeking innovative functionalities and industry trends.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 8 years in functional configuration of Workday.
  • Workday Core HCM certification along with 2 to 3 additional relevant Workday certifications (e.g., Talent & Performance, Learning, Recruiting, Reporting, Absence, or Compensation & Benefits).
  • A degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in project implementations and managing complex Workday environments.
  • Experience in delivering tailored, localized solutions across global markets, ideally with expertise in reporting.
  • Ability to create comprehensive documentation, including business process flows, functional design specifications, configuration guides, test scenarios, and training materials.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time, conflicting demands, and multiple workstreams while engaging with various stakeholders, particularly senior executives.
  • A creative, solution-oriented mindset to tackle challenges, even in complex situations.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
