PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Workday Junior Integration Developer within the Enterprise HR Platforms is responsible for assisting in the design and development of both local and global Workday Integrations for Human Capital Management (HCM) and payroll systems, including integration testing, deployment, and documentation. This role involves conducting requirements analysis and collaborating with functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other system specialists. Troubleshooting and resolving integration production issues is a key responsibility. Performing impact analysis related to global configuration and data modifications in production environments. Engaging in the analysis, design, development, and deployment of change requests pertaining to integrations. Monitoring failures, errors, and warnings associated with scheduled integrations. Collaborating with the integration lead to determine integration strategies, conduct reviews, and secure approvals. The position supports the maintenance, delivery, and enhancement of Workday integrations in response to HR and business needs, aligning with global IT standards. The role also involves working with third-party software vendors and providing Tier 3 support to ensure quality delivery of Workday integrations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure the delivery, quality, and reliability of Workday integrations. Comprehend business and HR requirements, proposing solutions and enhancements in close collaboration with IT, HR stakeholders, and third-party vendors. Adhere to established integration and development standards and best practices. Assist in the creation of integration design specification documents.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in HCM integration development and/or maintenance, preferably in a global internal environment or consultancy. Experience in Workday integration development is highly advantageous. Familiarity with web services, SOAP, WSDL, XML, XSLT, or XPATH is required. Ideally, possess knowledge of the Workday data model. Ideally, have experience with Workday Integrations in areas such as Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, PICOF/PECI, and BIRT. Project management skills are a plus. Detail-oriented and solution-focused. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing both planned and unplanned tasks effectively. Proficient in business English. Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving. Excellent influencing and communication skills, capable of articulating ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and successfully engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Strong presentation skills.

This role offers remote work flexibility with occasional travel due to global responsibilities.
