Senior Workday Configuration Specialist
The Senior Workday Configuration Specialist is integral to the assessment, design, and execution of solution strategies for specific Workday module requirements and modifications in implementation initiatives, change requests, and ongoing support operations. This role entails the configuration and upkeep of Workday modules in alignment with sanctioned requirements and organizational policies, in partnership with the Workday Configuration Lead. The specialist will enhance module setups based on human resources and business needs, adhering to both global and local change protocols as well as data privacy standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver support for the Workday module
- Maintain current knowledge of Workday functionalities and training
- Address escalated inquiries
- Resolve module-related incidents
- Engage in design discussions and outline requirements
- Conduct unit testing of prototypes and rectify defects
- Draft change requests for evaluation
- Spot opportunities for process enhancements
- Assist in the testing and rollout of new features
- Develop and sustain job aids and training resources
- Facilitate reporting and integration needs
- Acquire knowledge and support additional Workday modules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree; Advanced Degree preferred
- Over 3 years of experience in Workday HCM implementation and maintenance
- Functional expertise in Workday modules
- Experience in Workday Configuration support
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities
- Capacity to operate under tight deadlines and effectively prioritize tasks
- Proficiency in Business English
