OBJECTIVE AND OVERVIEW:
The Junior Integration Developer for Enterprise HR Platforms is responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of both local and global Workday Integrations pertaining to Human Capital Management (HCM) and payroll systems, as well as conducting integration tests, deployment activities, and documentation. This role encompasses the analysis of requirements, collaboration with functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and engagement with other system specialists. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving integration issues that arise in production environments. Conducting impact assessments for global configuration and data modifications in production systems is also a key duty. The role involves the analysis, design, development, and deployment of change requests related to integrations. Monitoring failures, errors, and alerts from scheduled integrations is essential. Collaboration with the integration lead on integration strategies, reviews, and approvals is required. This position supports the ongoing maintenance, delivery, and enhancement of Workday integrations, aligned with HR and business priorities, in accordance with global IT standards. The role will also involve working with third-party software vendors and providing Tier 3 support to ensure quality delivery of Workday integrations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the quality, delivery, and reliability of Workday integrations. Comprehend business and HR requirements, proposing solutions and enhancements in close collaboration with IT, HR stakeholders, and third-party partners. Adhere to established integration and development standards and best practices. Assist in the creation of integration design specification documents.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in HCM integration development and/or maintenance, preferably in a global internal environment or consultancy. Experience in Workday integration development is highly advantageous. Familiarity with web services, including SOAP, WSDL, XML, XSLT, or XPATH is necessary. Knowledge of the Workday data model is preferred. Experience with Workday Integrations in areas such as Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, PICOF/PECI, and BIRT is ideal. Project management skills are a plus. Detail-oriented and solution-focused mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing both planned and unplanned tasks effectively. Proficiency in business English. Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a data-driven approach to problem-solving. Excellent influencing and communication skills, capable of articulating ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and successfully engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Strong presentation skills.This position allows for remote work with occasional travel due to global responsibilities.
