Junior Workday Integration Specialist

OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE:

The Junior Integration Developer for Enterprise HR Platforms at Fresenius Medical Care is responsible for assisting in the design and implementation of both local and global Workday Integrations related to Human Capital Management (HCM) and payroll, including integration testing, deployment, and documentation. This role involves conducting requirements analysis and collaborating with functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other system specialists. Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues in production environments. Performing impact assessments for global configuration and data modifications in production. Analyzing, designing, developing, and deploying change requests for integrations. Monitoring failures, errors, and alerts from scheduled integrations. Coordinating with the integration lead regarding integration strategies, reviews, and approvals. The position will contribute to the maintenance, delivery, and enhancement of Workday integrations, aligning with HR's business needs and prioritization in accordance with global IT standards. Collaborating with third-party software vendors and Tier 3 support teams to ensure quality delivery of Workday integrations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure the delivery, quality, and reliability of Workday integrations. Comprehend business and HR requirements, proposing solutions and enhancements in close partnership with IT, HR stakeholders, and third-party providers. Adhere to established integration and development standards and best practices. Assist in creating integration design specification documents.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in HCM integration development and/or maintenance, preferably in a global internal environment or consultancy. Experience in Workday integration development is highly advantageous. Familiarity with web services, SOAP, WSDL, XML, XSLT, or XPATH. Ideally, possess knowledge of the Workday data model. Ideally, have experience with Workday Integrations in areas such as Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, PICOF/PECI, and BIRT. Project management skills are a plus. Detail-oriented and solution-focused. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing both planned and unplanned tasks. Proficient in business English. Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving. Excellent influencing and communication skills, capable of conveying ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Strong presentation abilities.

This position allows for remote work with occasional travel due to global responsibilities.
