Senior Workday Configuration Specialist
The Senior Workday Configuration Specialist is instrumental in evaluating, designing, and executing solution strategies for specific Workday module requirements and modifications in various projects, including Implementation initiatives, Change Requests, and ongoing support model management. This role entails configuring and sustaining Workday modules in alignment with sanctioned requirements and policies, working closely with the Workday Configuration Lead. The specialist will enhance module configurations to meet HR and business needs while adhering to global and local change protocols and data privacy standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer expert support for Workday modules
- Maintain current knowledge of Workday functionalities and training
- Address escalated inquiries effectively
- Resolve module-related incidents promptly
- Engage in design discussions and articulate requirements
- Conduct unit testing of prototypes and rectify defects
- Draft change requests for evaluation
- Spot opportunities for process enhancements
- Assist in testing and rollout of new functionalities
- Develop and sustain job aids and training documentation
- Support reporting and integration needs
- Acquire knowledge and assist with additional Workday modules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree; Advanced Degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Workday HCM implementation and maintenance
- Comprehensive understanding of Workday modules
- Proven experience in Workday Configuration support
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities
- Capability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Business English
