Job purpose
Lead the successful delivery of solutions, ensuring they meet the business requirements, drive quality, operational efficiency, and comply with legal and company regulations. Collaborate effectively with key partners like carriers, data providers, and customers to advance our digitalization agenda. Continuously monitor compliance and ensure compliant business practices and processes, while also safeguarding business continuity. Review and propose improvements to the OFR technological landscape, leveraging the latest technologies to enhance efficiency while ensuring compliance and fostering collaborative digital initiatives.
Principal accountabilities
- Oversee the successful delivery of solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and achieve the desired outcomes for the organization, such as improved quality, productivity, and compliance.
- Work with technical teams to design and evaluate potential solutions, considering factors such as scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives.
- Support operational execution by driving technology adoption in line with OFR operational standards and guidelines.
- Monitor the performance of delivered solutions, gather feedback from stakeholders, and evaluate their effectiveness in achieving desired outcomes. Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate effectively with key partners like carriers, data providers, and customers to advance our digitalization agenda
- Continuously review and propose improvements to the OFR solutions landscape, considering the latest available technologies, to enhance operational efficiency and quality
- Continuously monitor compliance and ensure our business practices and processes are compliant with all relevant government, industry and company rules and regulations
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs, gather requirements, and manage expectations throughout the solution delivery process.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Stay informed about industry best practices, rules and regulations, emerging technologies, and trends in digitalization to ensure the organization remains competitive, innovative, and compliant.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Project management expertise: strong project management skills, effectively planning, organizing, and executing complex technology projects from start to finish.
- Business acumen: Deep understanding of the organization's business goals and objectives, allowing the person to align technology solutions with strategic initiatives and drive value for the business.
- Technical knowledge: Solid understanding of technology and IT systems, enabling effective communication and collaboration with technical teams, as well as informed decision making regarding solution design and implementation.
- Stakeholder management: Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including business leaders, clients, vendors, and internal teams. Effective expectations management and alignment throughout the solution delivery process.
- Problem-solving skills: Adept at identifying and resolving issues - strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling the person to make informed decisions and find innovative solutions.
- Communication and leadership: Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. They can effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- OFR Industry knowledge and experience: Solid understanding of the specifics of the OFR industry including (but not limited to) rules and regulations, industry practices etc.
- Education level - bachelor's degree or equivalent years of expertience
- Experience - more than 6 years experience preferably in forwarding logistics and process improvement/preferably supervisory or team lead experience
