**Job purpose**

Lead the Global Ocean Freight Process Excellence team to drive continuous improvement, enhance operational efficiency, and lead the standardization and harmonization of business processes across the organization in alignment with OFR Global Target Operating model and overall business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies.

**Principal accountabilities**
- Strategic Process Design and Optimization: Develop and implement strategic plans to design and optimize processes across the global Ocean Freight network, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Standardization and Harmonization: Drive standardization and harmonization of business processes to ensure consistency and efficiency throughout the organization.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Oversee continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall performance.
- Change Management: Champion a culture of change and innovation within the organization, ensuring effective change management practices are implemented to facilitate process improvements.
- Performance Measurement: Establish metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process performance and track improvements over time.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their process optimization skills and drive a culture of process excellence.
- Technology Integration: Work closely with IT teams to integrate technology solutions that support process optimization and automation initiatives.
- Customer Satisfaction Enhancement: Ensure that process optimization efforts prioritize customer satisfaction and contribute to an improved overall customer experience.
- Management responsibility: Leading a team consisting of multiple experts who exercise independence in assignments

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Strategic leadership in process and operational excellence
- Establish and implement operational excellence strategies that have short to mid-term (1-5 years) impact on business results in alignment with OFR Global Target Operating model and overall business strategy
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities with various stakeholder levels to ensure alignment and support for process excellence agenda and effectively manage change
- Ability to drive a common process excellence agenda
- Ability to develop a strong and high performing process excellence team
- Ability to coach and develop direct reports in line with DPDHL Leadership Attributes
- Education level - Master's degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Experience - more than 8 years
