Mercedes-Benz Group AG is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest suppliers of premium and luxury cars and vans.
The "Global Logistics" department plans, develops and manages the IT systems for the international supply of the Mercedes-Benz passenger car plants, among other things. New processes and IT solutions for the international locations are being established worldwide in response to the strong growth in the international markets. You will work in an interesting environment, particularly in the Project Management Office (PMO) in the planning, conception, implementation, testing and rollout phases of the IT systems. You will mainly gain experience in the product GSS+ (Global Supply System). You will also be able to work with other IT4SC (IT for Supply Chain) products.

Your position in PMO Operations will give you exciting insights into the processes of a large IT project and you will quickly get to know the team members. During your internship, you will gain extensive knowledge of the Mercedes-Benz Cars logistics network and work with the latest technologies such as SAP on S4 Hana. The company offers insights into the processes of an automotive group for premium vehicles in the form of information days, plant tours and other offers.
You will face these challenges:
You will take responsibility for the on-boarding of new product members and contribute to supporting new product members, from day oneYou will combine social and professional aspects and comply with Group guidelines With your knowledge of product-relevant systems and access, you are the first point of contact for our team when help is needed to overcome hurdles and learn the basic rules of a large corporation You will provide support in organizing appointments in all key areas, e.g. preparing presentations, inviting project members, moderating and recording content You will work with the latest software tools such as SAP FIORI, MS SharePoint or SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)As a team member in the operational PMO (Product Management Office), you are usually involved as a pioneer in the establishment of new software toolsYou use your knowledge to support the initial setup You maintain and develop internal product communicationBased on the information you receive in the product, you know when the organizational chart needs to be expanded to include another location and who will fill which roleYou know how to use the information for the benefit of the productPrevious knowledge of project management is an advantage for understanding roles and processes within the product In addition, you will be in contact with the business department and support the cooperation between IT and the business department, which is why teamwork is a core competence of working in our product Due to the size of the product, you will work in a dynamic and international team and provide support in internal product communication - good written and spoken English skills will help you here QualifikationenQualifications:
Course of study: Business informatics or other business studies, preferably with a focus on logistics/computer science, industrial engineering, computer science or similar courses of study.
