Position Overview:

As an intern in the IT department, you will be engaged in the Global Logistics sector, focusing on the development and management of IT systems that support the international supply chain of Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of onboarding new team members and provide ongoing support, ensuring adherence to corporate guidelines.
  • Serve as the primary contact for product-related systems, assisting team members in navigating challenges and understanding corporate protocols.
  • Assist in organizing meetings across various departments, including preparing presentations and coordinating participant invitations.
  • Utilize advanced software tools such as SAP FIORI and MS SharePoint, contributing to the implementation of new IT solutions.
  • Enhance internal communication regarding product developments, ensuring the organizational structure is updated as necessary.
  • Collaborate with business units to foster effective cooperation between IT and operational teams, emphasizing teamwork as a core competency.
  • Engage with a diverse and dynamic international team, supporting internal communications and utilizing strong English language skills.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Informatics, Logistics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and German.
  • Demonstrated commitment and motivation.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective self-organization abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
