Position Overview:

Mercedes-Benz Group AG stands as a leader in the automotive industry, recognized for its excellence in premium and luxury vehicles. The Global Logistics division is responsible for the strategic planning, development, and management of IT systems that facilitate the international supply chain for Mercedes-Benz passenger car manufacturing.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the onboarding process for new product team members, ensuring they receive comprehensive support from the outset.
  • Act as the primary resource for the team regarding product-relevant systems, assisting in overcoming challenges and navigating corporate protocols.
  • Support the organization of key meetings, including the preparation of presentations and coordination of project member invitations.
  • Utilize advanced software tools such as SAP FIORI, MS SharePoint, and SAP Solution Manager to assist in the operational management of projects.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of internal product communication, ensuring clarity in organizational structure and role assignments.
  • Foster collaboration between IT and business departments, emphasizing teamwork as a fundamental skill in this role.
  • Work within a dynamic, international team environment, leveraging strong English communication skills to facilitate internal communications.

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in Business Informatics or related fields, ideally with a focus on logistics, computer science, or industrial engineering.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
  • Demonstrated commitment and motivation to excel in a team-oriented setting.
  • Strong analytical skills and a strategic approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent self-organization and proficiency in MS Office applications.
