The Mercedes-Benz Group is one of the most successful automotive companies in the world. With Mercedes-Benz AG and the Mercedes-Benz Cars and Mercedes-Benz Vans divisions, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest and most successful suppliers of premium passenger cars.
The automotive industry is undergoing radical change. Digitalization in particular is driving this change. Our IT4SC department supports global, in-plant and cross-plant logistics processes to ensure the supply of products in the plants. Agility and user-centric software development are essential in order to develop innovative and modern products and drive digitalization forward. For this reason, we want to understand the user behavior of our software products even better.

As a student in the field of IT, e.g. data engineering, computer science, human-computer interaction or a comparable course of study, it is important to you to understand the users of the software and to derive improvements for individual applications from this. You will work closely with experts in the specialist area and with internal and external service providers.
Technologically, we offer you an exciting environment: our systems and IT products are diverse and are always trying to integrate new innovations into the application. In addition, the technical requirements for our applications are becoming increasingly complex and challenging. For this reason, it is particularly important for our developers to be able to observe user behavior and derive the next steps from this.
AI also offers new possibilities for human-computer interaction, which is why we also want to investigate the influence of the latest AI solutions

Comparison and evaluation of various tools for analyzing user behavior and their evaluation for applications of internal IT in the field of logistics Elicitation of requirements Creating a data basis to be able to analyze the added value of AI solutions such as chatbots Practical application of the research in an application Evaluating the practical experience gained and summarizing the results Independent processing and high-quality practical implementation Close cooperation with an international team for the creation and modification of logistics and IT processes QualifikationenProfessional qualifications:
Degree in the field of IT, e.g. data engineering, computer science, human-computer interaction or a comparable course of study Affinity for data analysis, implementations and software development Great interest in methods of user-centered software development, such as evaluation of user behavior and requirements engineering Knowledge of agile working methods such as SCRUM or SAFe is desirablePersonal skills:
Ability to work independently and autonomously on complex tasks and applications Enthusiastic about innovation and open to new technologies and creative solutions Determined familiarization with different tools, platforms and frameworks Commitment, high assertiveness and persuasiveness, confident and goal-oriented appearance, communication skills in English and GermanAdditional information:
