Position Overview:

The Mercedes-Benz Group AG is recognized as a leading player in the automotive industry, specializing in premium and luxury vehicles. The focus of this internship is within the Global Logistics sector, where we develop and manage IT systems that facilitate the international supply chain for our passenger car production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the onboarding process for new product team members, ensuring they receive the necessary support from the outset.
  • Act as the primary contact for the team, utilizing your knowledge of relevant systems to assist in overcoming challenges and understanding corporate protocols.
  • Assist in organizing key meetings, including preparing presentations, coordinating invitations, and documenting discussions.
  • Utilize advanced software tools such as SAP FIORI, MS SharePoint, and SAP Solution Manager, contributing to the implementation of new software solutions.
  • Enhance internal product communication by maintaining up-to-date organizational charts and understanding team roles.
  • Collaborate with business departments to foster effective communication between IT and business functions, emphasizing teamwork as a core competency.
  • Work within a dynamic, international team, supporting internal communications and leveraging strong English language skills.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Informatics, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and German.
  • Demonstrated commitment and motivation.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent self-organization abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
