The Global Logistics division is responsible for the strategic planning, development, and management of IT systems that facilitate the international supply chain for Mercedes-Benz passenger car manufacturing.
Role Responsibilities:
- Engage in the onboarding process for new product team members, ensuring a smooth transition and adherence to corporate guidelines.
- Act as the primary contact for the team, utilizing your knowledge of relevant systems to assist colleagues in navigating challenges and understanding corporate protocols.
- Support the organization of key meetings, including the preparation of presentations, coordination of participant invitations, and documentation of discussions.
- Utilize advanced software tools such as SAP FIORI, MS SharePoint, and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) as part of the operational Product Management Office (PMO).
- Enhance internal product communication by maintaining up-to-date organizational charts and facilitating role assignments based on project needs.
- Collaborate with business departments to foster effective teamwork between IT and operational units, emphasizing the importance of communication skills.
- Contribute to a dynamic, international team environment, leveraging your proficiency in English to support internal communications.
Qualifications:
- Educational background in Business Informatics or related fields, with a focus on logistics, computer science, or industrial engineering.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
- Demonstrated commitment and motivation to excel in a team-oriented setting.
- Strong analytical skills and a strategic approach to problem-solving.
- Effective self-management and organizational abilities.
