About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Assurance Manager Ingredients to join our team at Intersnack Procurement BV. As a key member of our quality department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our ingredients, managing supplier relationships, and driving continuous improvement in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Assessment and Management: Conduct regular supplier quality audits and technical visits to ensure compliance with Intersnack Group and Procurement procedures.
  • Quality and Food Safety Management: Manage relationships with Intersnack factories and operating companies, handle and resolve quality and food safety issues, and provide feedback to improve raw materials quality.
  • Risk-Based Monitoring: Ensure the effective and efficient implementation of our risk-based monitoring program.
  • Category Strategies: Work with buying managers to drive and implement category strategies and achieve Intersnack Procurement targets.
  • Raw Material Specifications: Agree raw material specifications with suppliers and operating companies.
  • Supplier Quality Assurance Systems: Manage all supplier quality assurance systems and data, ensuring information and documents are up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor or Master of Science degree in a science-based field (e.g., Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Food Quality Management, Microbiology, Chemistry).
  • Experience: More than 3 years of experience in supplier quality assurance, quality management, or a similar role in the FMCG and/or food industry.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with quality management systems and GFSI schemes (BRC/IFS/FSSC), as well as current EU legislation relevant to food manufacturing.
  • Skills: Advanced computer literacy in MS Office and database management, fluency in English, and ability to work cross-functionally in high-complexity, multicultural organizations.
