We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Intersnack. As a key member of our quality department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our raw materials.
Key Responsibilities- Manage supplier relationships and conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with Intersnack's quality standards.
- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure the delivery of high-quality raw materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and resolve quality issues.
- Conduct risk assessments and food fraud investigations to identify potential quality risks.
- Work closely with buying managers to develop and implement category strategies that meet Intersnack's quality and procurement targets.
- Manage and maintain supplier quality assurance systems and data to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science-based field such as Food Science, Food Technology, or Microbiology.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality management, or a related field in the FMCG and/or food industry.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and GFSI schemes (BRC/IFS/FSSC).
- Knowledge of current EU legislation relevant to food manufacturing.
- Advanced computer literacy in MS Office and database management.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a high-complexity, multicultural organization.
- Attention to detail, good planning, time management, conflict management, and communicative skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, problem-solving skills with knowledge of project management.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
- Valid driving license.
