About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Assurance Manager - Flexible Packaging to join our team at Intersnack Procurement BV. As a key member of our Procurement department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our flexible packaging materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct audits and assessments of suppliers to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate quality and safety risks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality materials.
- Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on quality and safety procedures.
- Monitor and report on quality and safety metrics to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Food Science.
- At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance, quality management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supplier quality assurance, auditing, and risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English, with ability to communicate complex information effectively.
