Strategic Business Development Manager

Your Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities adjacent to SCHOTT ́s existing business, leveraging expertise in business management and technology.
- Conduct market analysis and strategic planning to identify potential markets and applications for new SCHOTT business opportunities.
- Lead complex, international new business projects with demanding technological concepts, overseeing budget and team management.
- Develop business and sales models for selected applications, and draft purposeful business plans for decision-making and implementation.
- Collaborate with internal functional units, customers, and external partners to drive business growth and innovation.
- Translate business ideas into actionable strategies and concepts for marketing and sales of new products.
Your Ideal Profile
- Hold an excellent honors degree in business management, science, or materials, preferably with a PhD, or a University degree in a technical/natural science field with a doctorate and additional business training.
- Combine strong business acumen with deep technological understanding, and possess several years of international experience in business/new business development.
- Have a proven track record of successful cooperation in international projects, with experience in Semiconductor and/or Microelectronic, materials, and value chains.
- Be fluent in business English, with knowledge of other languages and a willingness to travel abroad.
