Your Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities adjacent to SCHOTT ́s existing business, leveraging expertise in business management and technology.
  • Conduct market analysis and strategic planning to identify potential markets and applications for new SCHOTT business opportunities.
  • Lead complex, international new business projects with demanding technological concepts, overseeing budget and team management.
  • Develop business and sales models for selected applications, and draft purposeful business plans for decision-making and implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal functional units, customers, and external partners to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Translate business ideas into actionable strategies and concepts for marketing and sales of new products.

Your Ideal Profile

  • Hold an excellent honors degree in business management, science, or materials, preferably with a PhD, or a University degree in a technical/natural science field with a doctorate and additional business training.
  • Combine strong business acumen with deep technological understanding, and possess several years of international experience in business/new business development.
  • Have a proven track record of successful cooperation in international projects, with experience in Semiconductor and/or Microelectronic, materials, and value chains.
  • Be fluent in business English, with knowledge of other languages and a willingness to travel abroad.
