Business Development Manager for New Ventures

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our New Ventures team at SCHOTT. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the materials space adjacent to our existing business.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and develop new business ideas
  • Lead smaller projects and coordinate collaborations with academic partners and research institutes

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in business development and a deep understanding of the materials space. You should have excellent analytical and conceptual skills, as well as the ability to translate technology into business.
