Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Automotive Sales Manager to join our team at Renesas Electronics. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and developing key global accounts in the automotive sector, focusing on advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), infotainment, powertrain, and body electronics applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Lead a team of global account managers, providing guidance and support to deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Work closely with our engineering, marketing, and product management teams to identify customer needs, propose solutions, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, providing input for product roadmap and strategy.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of remote employees, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Reporting: Report to the Director of Automotive Sales for Europe, providing regular updates on sales performance and account management activities.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management in the automotive industry, preferably in the semiconductor or electronics domain.
  • Track Record: A proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer relationships.
  • Technical Knowledge: A strong technical background and knowledge of automotive applications and standards, especially in ADAS, infotainment, powertrain, and body electronics.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers at various levels.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and at least one other European language.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, business, or a related field.
