Senior Automotive Sales Director Job Description

Renesas Electronics is seeking a highly experienced Senior Automotive Sales Director to lead our global automotive sales efforts. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of global account managers focused on automotive sector applications, providing strategic guidance and support to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and product management, to develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing valuable insights and product input to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Report to the Director of Automotive Sales for Europe, ensuring alignment with regional sales goals and objectives.
  • Manage and lead a team of remote employees, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure team success.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years sales experience in the automotive industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong technical background in automotive applications, with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a customer-oriented approach and willingness to travel frequently within Europe and other regions.
  • Fluency in English and at least one other European language, with a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
