Job Description

Job Title: Sales Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Central European team and drive business growth in the region. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of sales leadership, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the semiconductor and automotive industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a cross-functional team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth in the region, including identifying new business opportunities and building relationships with key customers.
  • Manage and engage with management stakeholders to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Consolidate and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and develop mitigation actions.
  • Drive demand creation in the CE region and run the own sub-region as Regional Sales Manager.
  • Develop and execute global business strategies to identify opportunities for Nexperia.
  • Represent and convey customer needs internally and ensure adequate priorities are set to execute against strategy.
  • Gather and communicate market and competitor information into the organization.

Requirements:

  • University degree in electrical engineering or business studies with solid technical affinity.
  • Minimum 10 years sales experience in the semiconductor or automotive industry.
  • Leadership experience and expertise to manage a cross-functional and multicultural team.
  • Solid experience in managing commodity business and promoting power-related products.
  • Detailed business understanding of industrial applications, with additional segment knowledge in automotive and consumer a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, result-oriented, customer-focused on key accounts and mass market accounts.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in German and English, with other languages a plus.
  • Team player with hands-on mentality.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
