Business Development and Client Management Specialist

Our client is a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing (CDMO) organization in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in manufacturing products aimed at improving health and well-being.
Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Business Manager / Sales & Client Manager to join our team. This is a key role that requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities- Represent the interests of clients while optimizing the financial performance of the site by negotiating prices and contracts.
- Collaborate closely with the site's Managing Director to manage client relationships in line with company policies and client agreements.
- Be part of the site leadership team, working closely with other departments and acting as a liaison for group-level activities and Sales & Client Managers from other locations.
- E nsure timely, accurate communication and address all client queries promptly.
- Contribute to new business acquisitions for the site by collaborating with the Business Development team.
- A university degree in sciences or economics.
- 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in positions with a comparable scope of responsibilities.
- Proven experience in leading B2B price and contract negotiations for customized products and services.
- Equivalent combinations of education and work experience will be considered.
- In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing and outsourcing processes.
- Strong customer focus, interpersonal skills, and business acumen.
- Project management experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and German, including experience in communication with senior management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
