About the Role

As an Energetic Sales Strategist, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, driving customer acquisition, and developing scalable processes. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to build and test strategic programs that support the broader commercial team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Customer Acquisition: Handle inbound sales inquiries to recruit a high volume of customers for our products and services.
  • Cultivate a High-Performing Sales Team: Train and coach a newly formed sales team to ensure they are integral to the total Amazon Freight business development pipeline.
  • Build Efficient Processes: Create and optimize pipeline processes to enhance efficiency and scalability from prospect to product launch.
  • Support Lead Generation: Analyze pipeline quality to aid the marketing team in generating high-quality leads.
  • Inform Product Development: Use customer feedback to identify pain points and guide product improvements.
  • Implement Strategic Initiatives: Test new strategies in collaboration with senior stakeholders to support pitching or securing new business.
  • Owning Performance Updates and Business Reviews: Manage pipeline updates, business reviews, and strategic project documents with leadership.

A Day in the Life

You will spend your time recruiting and providing sales coaching to a team, driving growth, building reporting mechanisms, and owning the overall sales strategy. You will also work on strategic projects that address complex problems across the broader commercial team.

Amazon Freight (AF) is a B2B start-up within Amazon Transportation Services in Europe, offering an innovative technology-driven solution for logistics needs of small and large businesses. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow with a rapidly scaling company.


Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Advanced proficiency in written and verbal German.
  • Relevant experience working in supply chain, freight industries or consultancy.
  • Other EU languages.

Estimated Salary: €70,000 - €90,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
