Freight Business Development Specialist

This is a unique chance to be part of a fast-growing organization within Amazon Freight, focusing on business development and sales strategy.
The team is responsible for recruiting and growing European shippers at scale, helping them unlock their full potential through our self-serve tools.
The successful candidate will lead with empathy to cultivate a high-performing sales team, possess strong programmatic skills to scale the self-serve business, and think creatively to solve ambiguous problems.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Customer Acquisition: Handle inbound sales inquiries to recruit a high volume of customers for our products and services.
- Cultivate a Sales Team: Train a high-performing sales team that is integral to the total Amazon Freight business development pipeline.
- Program Management: Create and optimize pipeline processes to enhance efficiency and scalability from prospect to product launch.
- Lead Generation and Product Development: Analyze pipeline quality to aid the marketing team in generating high-quality leads, and use customer feedback to identify pain points and guide product improvements.
- Strategic Initiatives: Test new strategies in collaboration with senior stakeholders to support pitching or securing new business.
Amazon Freight (AF) is a B2B start-up within Amazon Transportation Services in Europe.
Amazon Freight allows external businesses "shippers" to use Amazon's transportation technology and network to transport products in bulk across Europe.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
- Experience in business development, partner development, sales or alliances management.
- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal German.
