Retail Expansion Strategist

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Retail Expansion Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our Sales Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive expansion strategy for the Nordic market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a holistic growth strategy for the Nordic countries, focusing on expanding our retail presence and driving business growth.
- Conduct strategic market analyses to gain valuable insights and inform data-driven decision-making.
- Lead and develop a national and international key account team to effectively manage sales in stationary and digital retail channels.
- Collaborate with the Sales Leadership Team and Vertical Lead to develop and implement the overall offline retail strategy.
- Identify and acquire new retail locations and partnerships domestically and internationally.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with retail partners to build long-term and successful collaborations.
- Monitor and control the entire expansion process, from planning to successful implementation.
- Provide regular reporting to C-Level on the progress and results of retail expansion.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail, quick commerce, or expansion in the FMCG or food sector, with market-specific knowledge of the Nordic countries.
- Degree in business administration, management, finance, or law from a top university.
- Excellent English language skills and relevant additional language skills, with German language skills being a plus.
- Experience in leading and developing teams, particularly in fast-growing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of conducting market analyses and developing strategic recommendations for action.
- Love for key figures and KPIs, with confident presentation skills at all hierarchical levels.
- Strong negotiating skills, good communication skills, and enthusiasm for the food market.
- Proactive and goal-oriented work style, with ability to work under pressure and successfully implement complex projects.
