Job Description
  • Develop, implement, and continuously review our tax policies and strategies to drive business growth and minimize risk.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure global tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax returns.
  • Lead the development and operation of a robust tax process for period-end closing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support various VAT/GST projects for Europe and globally, working closely with external tax advisors.
  • Oversee our global transfer pricing system, maintaining and documenting its operation.
  • Partner with other functions to implement new products from a tax perspective, enabling our global product expansion.
  • Maintain our ERP system (Workday) from a tax perspective, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy.
Requirements
  • University degree or vocational training in tax or accounting-related fields, with a proven track record in relevant tax areas.
  • German taxation experience is essential.
  • Fluent German and English language skills are fundamental, both verbal and written.
  • Tax Advisor exam preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, motivated by a high-growth environment with associated challenges and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence stakeholders.
  • Possess a 'can-do' attitude, taking ownership and driving projects forward.
  • Autonomous, hands-on if required, with the ability to deal with ambiguity.
