EoT Labs, a pioneer in harnessing modern technology for a better trajectory of humanity, is looking to expand its team. Our mission revolves around building a global, borderless machine economy that benefits all humans. This vision has already positively impacted over 20 industries through our flagship project peaq.
We are seeking an APAC Community Lead to spearhead peaq's community strategy and operations in the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our team, you will have a significant impact on community growth and direction.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for developing and executing peaq's community strategy in the APAC region, aligning it with company goals.
- Foster growth of the peaq community in APAC by implementing effective engagement and moderation strategies.
- Establish and lead the peaq APAC community team, comprising community leads across the region, both internally and externally.
- Set standards for community behavior and interactions, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and vision.
- Ensure the achievement of targets related to community growth and engagement in the APAC region.
- Collaborate with various teams within our ecosystem to create cohesive campaigns and events driving community engagement.
- Educate the community team and the community at large.
- Develop and implement strategies for peaq's presence on platforms such as Discord, Telegram, WeChat, and others across the APAC region.
- Nurture and manage relationships with influential community members, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Product, Engineering, and Communications teams to share critical information.
- Create systems for gathering, learning from, and implementing community feedback in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to community engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and the latest developments in web3.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- At least 3 years of experience in community management/leadership of Web3 projects in the APAC region.
- A proven track record of leading communities of hundreds of thousands of people and scaling them into the hundreds of thousands.
- Clear communication, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Strong familiarity with Web3, passion for crypto, and decentralization.
- Organized and able to convey clearly how peaq is progressing.
- Excellent English communication skills – written and verbal.
- Proven work experience in community management in APAC.
- A leader who can organize, motivate, and strategize effectively.
