The Chief of Staff role at Blacklane is a pivotal position that supports the CEO and senior leadership team by overseeing strategic initiatives, managing key projects, and driving operational excellence across the organization. In this capacity, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing strategic counsel and insights on key business decisions.

This requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for effectively interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

You will lead and manage cross-functional projects and initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. This includes collaborating closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness. You will also act as a liaison between the CEO and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment on priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing strategic counsel and insights on key business decisions
  • Leading and managing cross-functional projects and initiatives from inception to completion
  • Conducting in-depth analysis and research to support strategic decision-making and problem-solving
  • Driving operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Acting as a liaison between the CEO and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment on priorities
  • Preparing and delivering presentations, reports, and other materials for executive meetings and presentations
  • Monitoring and tracking progress on strategic initiatives, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending course corrections as needed
  • Implementing and managing OKRs by facilitating communication between departments, aligning objectives and key results with the overall business strategy, and ensuring that teams deliver/hold accountable and remain focused on their priorities
  • Team Leadership: Leading the Executive Assistant to the C-Level, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and customer-centricity. Providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in management consulting with a top-tier firm, preferably from one of the leading three consulting companies. Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment is essential.
