Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales and Technical Manager to join our team at Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment & Consult. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Food Technology or Science and significant experience in Sales (5/7 years) in Germany and German speaking countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, understanding their needs and providing technical support to establish long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitors, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities and adapt to market changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales of raw materials used in the food industry, including those segments where hydrocolloids are used.
  • Strong technical understanding of the chemistry, properties, and applications of ingredients used in food preparation.
