Your Role
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the planning, execution, and evaluation of various events, including virtual, physical, and hybrid formats, as well as sales and marketing meetings and congresses. You will leverage your expertise in event management to ensure seamless execution from start to finish, including:
  • Developing meeting goals and objectives in accordance with MedTech Europe guidelines and Zimmer Biomet's Corporate Compliance program.
  • Assisting in the planning and booth development for congresses.
  • Preparing detailed budgets, including preliminary, working, and final meeting budgets.
  • Negotiating contracts with venues, production companies, and other vendors.
  • Managing technology vendor interactions for digital event deployment.
  • Ensuring a positive customer experience during on-site execution.
  • Aligning event outcomes with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Creating event materials and managing logistics such as food and beverage, schedules, and manifests.
  • Collaborating with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conducting post-event analysis and preparing comprehensive reports.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • A degree in commercial education or a related field, preferably within the meeting and congress industry.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in event coordination within the meeting and congress planning sector.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with proficiency in additional languages preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to customer service.
