YOUR ROLE
As a Compliance and Governance Manager (m/f/d), you will play a critical role in the enhancement and maintenance of our information security management framework. Your responsibilities will include ensuring adherence to data protection regulations and overseeing our governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and sustain our existing information security management framework in accordance with DIN 27001 and ISO 20243, guiding the organization through both internal and external assessments.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other pertinent data protection regulations in collaboration with our data privacy officer.
- Administer, evaluate, and refine our GRC and internal control mechanisms.
- Oversee modifications to our organizational structure and process landscape.
- Manage contracts with current clients and partners while supporting the development of new agreements.
YOUR PROFILE
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Business Administration, Commercial Apprenticeship, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an organizational capacity, preferably within the IT sector.
- Strong knowledge or practical experience in information security, data protection, GRC, and internal control mechanisms.
- Extensive experience in managing industry certifications and standards, particularly DIN ISO, along with initial experience in preparing and conducting internal and external assessments.
- Familiarity with industry guidelines, updates, and trends related to data protection.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A high level of motivation, adaptability, and the ability to work autonomously.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
