Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and reconciliation of logistics for events, including virtual, physical, and hybrid formats, as well as sales and marketing meetings and congresses.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the events landscape, applying industry knowledge to manage events from inception to completion.
  • Prepare detailed budgets, conduct thorough research, and analyze post-event activities.
  • Support the design and implementation of educational experiences for healthcare professionals.
How You Will Make an Impact:
  • Facilitate the development of meeting goals and objectives in accordance with MedTech Europe guidelines and Zimmer Biomet's Corporate Compliance program.
  • Contribute to event planning and booth development for congresses.
  • Manage contract negotiations with various vendors, including hotels and transportation companies.
  • Oversee technology vendor interactions for digital event deployment, ensuring seamless communication between all parties involved.
  • Execute on-site logistics with a focus on enhancing the customer experience.
  • Ensure that meeting outcomes align with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Develop event materials and manage logistics, including food and beverage arrangements, schedules, and attendee manifests.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and vendors.
  • Handle post-event responsibilities, including invoice reconciliation and expense analysis.
  • Evaluate event success and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Work closely with surgeon educators and the marketing team to implement the event plan.
Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in commonly used software applications.
  • Ability to implement programs that maximize organizational effectiveness in achieving strategic objectives.
  • Familiarity with the Cvent system is preferred.
Language Proficiency:
Fluency in English is essential, with advanced skills in French and Dutch strongly preferred.

Educational Background:
A degree in commercial education or a related field, preferably within the meeting and congress industry or a similar area, is required.

Professional Experience:
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in coordinating meetings and congresses is essential. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

Personal Skills:
Strong oral and written communication skills, particularly in English, along with excellent organizational and motivational abilities. A commitment to customer service and team-oriented management is crucial. You should possess exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A documented successful track record in an education management role is also required.
