Role Overview
The Global Non-IT Procurement team, part of our Global Sourcing and Procurement division, is essential in acquiring services and solutions on a worldwide scale.
Key Responsibilities
As a Strategic Buyer, you will report directly to the Head of Global Facility Management, Energy and Logistics Procurement. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing local and global procurement projects within the Facility and Logistics categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Conducting tenders at local, national, and global levels using SAP Ariba Source to Contract, adhering to internal guidelines and regulations.
- Overseeing contracts and amendments through SAP Ariba Source to Contract.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders, including legal, compliance, data privacy departments, and procurement colleagues.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement within an internationally operating company or in global project management.
- A degree in a commercial or technical field (Master's preferred) with extensive strategic procurement experience, particularly in Facility Management and Logistics.
- Fluency in German (required, as 80% of daily business is conducted in German) and business proficiency in English.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and management skills, with a proven ability to work in complex environments.
- Excellent project management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- A hands-on approach with the necessary skills to achieve tasks and targets effectively.
- A team-oriented mindset, preferably with experience in international teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office Products and SAP Ariba (Source to Contract) e-Auction.
