About the Role:
The Strategic Purchaser will report directly to the Head of Global Facility Management, Energy, and Logistics Procurement. This role involves managing both local and global procurement initiatives for various Facility and Logistics category needs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and maximizing value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct local, national, and global tenders utilizing SAP Ariba Source to Contract, adhering to internal guidelines and legal regulations.
- Execute procurement processes including proposal solicitation, evaluation, price comparisons, e-auctions, negotiations, and award decisions.
- Manage contracts and amendments within SAP Ariba Source to Contract.
- Prepare market research summaries and provide insights on market trends, supplier options, and potential alternatives.
- Consult with business units on strategic procurement to enhance sourcing strategies and value for money.
- Analyze procurement market spend and benchmark against best practices, considering total cost of ownership.
- Coordinate with stakeholders on demand requirements and identify bundling opportunities.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, data privacy departments, and procurement colleagues.
- Oversee comprehensive contract management throughout the lifecycle, from decision-making to contract exit management.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement within an international company or in global project management.
- Degree in a commercial or technical field (Master's preferred) with strategic procurement experience, ideally in Facility Management and Logistics.
- Ability to work autonomously while being collaborative and team-oriented.
- Fluency in German is required, with business proficiency in English.
- Experience in business-related functions is advantageous.
