Role Overview:
The Global Non-IT Procurement team, under the Global Sourcing and Procurement umbrella, is crucial in acquiring services and solutions worldwide. Our focus encompasses four primary categories: Professional Services and HR, Marketing and Communication, Insurance, and Facility Management, Energy and Logistics. We ensure that the needs of our internal stakeholders are met with efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct local, national, and global tenders using SAP Ariba Source to Contract, adhering to internal guidelines and regulations.
  • Manage procurement processes including proposal solicitation, evaluation, price comparisons, e-auctions, negotiations, and award decisions.
  • Oversee contracts and amendments within SAP Ariba Source to Contract.
  • Prepare market research summaries and provide insights on market trends, supplier options, and potential alternatives.
  • Consult with business units to enhance sourcing strategies and ensure value for money.
  • Analyze procurement market spend and benchmark against best practices, considering total cost of ownership.
  • Coordinate with business units on demand requirements and explore bundling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including legal, compliance, and procurement colleagues.
  • Manage comprehensive contract oversight throughout the entire lifecycle, from decision-making to contract exit management.

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement within an international company or in global project management.
  • Degree in a commercial or technical field (Master's preferred) with substantial strategic procurement experience, particularly in Facility Management and Logistics.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage IT security, data privacy, and legal considerations.
  • Fluency in German is essential (as 80% of daily operations are conducted in German), with business proficiency in English.
  • Experience in business-related functions such as Sales, Operations, or Finance is advantageous.
