Role Overview
The Global Non-IT Procurement team, part of our overarching Global Sourcing and Procurement division, is crucial in sourcing services and solutions on an international scale. This department focuses on four primary categories: Professional Services and HR, Marketing and Communication, Insurance, and Facility Management, Energy and Logistics. Our mission is to meet the needs of internal stakeholders efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish collaborative partnerships that encourage open communication and transparency, leading to mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Conduct thorough supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management to secure optimal value while upholding high standards of quality and service.
- Manage local and global procurement projects within the Facility and Logistics categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing organizational value.
- Execute local, national, and global tenders using SAP Ariba Source to Contract, adhering to internal guidelines and regulations.
- Oversee contracts and amendments within SAP Ariba Source to Contract.
- Collaborate with essential stakeholders, including legal, compliance, data privacy, and procurement teams.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement within an international context or global project management in matrix organizations.
- A degree in a commercial or technical field (Master's preferred) with substantial strategic procurement experience, ideally in Facility Management and Logistics.
- Proficiency in IT security, Data Privacy, and Legal considerations.
- Fluency in German is required (as 80% of daily operations are conducted in German), with business proficiency in English.
- Proven experience in complex environments, demonstrating strong analytical, strategic, and management skills.
- Excellent project management, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- A hands-on approach with the necessary skills to achieve tasks and objectives successfully.
- Team-oriented mindset, preferably with experience in international teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office Products and SAP Ariba (Source to Contract) e-Auction.
