Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales Director/Managing Director for our European headquarters in Munich. This role entails full accountability for market expansion and business growth within the EU. Responsibilities include building a robust sales team, engaging with new clients, and nurturing relationships with existing customers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy and operational plan for the EU, ensuring the achievement of business objectives and sales targets.

• Cultivate and enhance relationships with current customers, pursue new business opportunities, and manage distributors across Europe.

• Recruit, lead, and mentor local and regional Sales and FAE teams, fostering talent and promoting team integration.

• Organize annual activities, including planning for trade shows and exhibitions where the company should participate.

• Provide insights into EU market needs and trends to guide product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.

• At least 10 years of experience in semiconductor sales with established relationships with key customers.

• In-depth knowledge of the semiconductor industry landscape and EU market trends, with the ability to implement strategies for market share growth.

• Familiarity with targeted markets such as telecommunications, industrial, and automotive sectors in the EU; experience in distributor management is essential.

• Proven ability to drive semiconductor sales processes and technology sales for effective conversions and expedited design cycles.

• Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, favoring charm over aggressive tactics.

• Demonstrated experience in building and leading sales and FAE teams.

• Proactive, enthusiastic, and strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.

• Willingness to travel extensively.

• Proficiency in German and English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is advantageous.
