In the Automotive domain, our chipsets are utilized in systems produced by top-tier manufacturers and are actively deployed in vehicles globally. Valens plays a pivotal role in advancing ADAS and autonomous driving technologies, serving as the foundation for the emerging industry standard in high-speed in-vehicle connectivity.
Position Overview:
This role is based in Germany, with a focus on business development across the DACH region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishing and cultivating a robust business presence in the following sectors:
- Automotive sector in Germany, advocating for Valens solutions among leading OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
- Industrial and Machine Vision sector, promoting Valens offerings to key clients.
- Identifying and pursuing new business prospects, collaborating closely with field teams, product marketing, and technical departments to secure new design wins and foster essential C-Level relationships.
- Building and sustaining significant relationships with relevant stakeholders.
- Gathering market intelligence and sales data to pinpoint current and future opportunities while analyzing the competitive landscape.
- Acting as a liaison between headquarters and clients, articulating the value and roadmap of automotive products to customers, and conveying the technological and strategic needs of clients back to headquarters.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or marketing roles within the automotive sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Automotive Electronics and the machine vision industry, with an established network of contacts among leading clients.
- Strong technical background with at least 5 years of experience in semiconductor or hardware companies.
- Proven track record in establishing and expanding business operations.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, colleagues, and management.
