Position: Electronics Development Engineer

Role Overview:

We are in search of an Electronics Development Engineer to become a part of our team at EVI Audio GmbH in Straubing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop audio power electronics tailored for 19" amplifiers and amplifier modules intended for active speaker systems.
  • Innovate and enhance in-house Class-D amplifier technologies.
  • Create switch-mode power supplies specifically for professional audio amplification.
  • Engineer small signal electronics to facilitate the control and monitoring of audio power systems.
  • Conduct circuit simulations and optimizations utilizing PSpice or comparable simulation platforms.
  • Oversee the development of printed circuit board layouts.
  • Commission, test, and refine prototypes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document processes, gather data, and devise testing tools for mass production.
  • Support the safety and radio protection certification processes for audio amplifiers.
  • Lead projects from the conceptual phase through to serial production.

Qualifications:

  • A completed university degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, ideally with a specialization in power electronics.
  • Familiarity with audio technology and professional sound reinforcement systems.
  • Proficient in design and simulation software as well as measurement instruments.
  • Basic understanding of low-level programming for microcontrollers.
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English.
  • Exhibit creativity, independence, and a structured approach to work.
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills, initiative, and motivation.
